CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual support (Ageing and Disability)
Course Overview
This qualification is part of the CHC – Community Services Training Package and is designed for individuals who want to work in roles providing person-centred support to clients in aged care, disability, or community settings.
Entry Requirements
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Digital Literacy assessment (LLND) and Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) abilities.
- Hold a current and valid National Police Check (dated within 12 months; online checks accepted).
- Hold a Department of Communities & Social Inclusion (DCSI) Screening Check for working in the Aged Care Sector and with Vulnerable People.
Course Structure
Duration: 52 weeks
Delivery: Class attendance is scheduled across all units over 13 weeks.
Work Placement: 120 hours of work placement are required to obtain this qualification.

On successful completion of HLTAID011, you will be issued a Statement of Attainment for this unit.
Credit for Prior Learning
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Available for those with related education or experience.
